This magnificent antique plique-a-jour and vermeil art nouveau necklace has an understated elegance. Like stained glass, the plique-a-jour shows its lovely colors when lit from behind. The primary color of the five plique-a-jour segments is a brilliant cobalt blue. The necklace measures 15 1/2" in length while the individual segments measure 1 1/2" wide and 1/2" tall. Circa: 1900.
